6) My MP3 player is connected with one of these cassette adapters. I doubted the sound would be good enough, but I gave it a try. So after fiddling with all the settings of the MP3 equalizer and the separate sound settings of the Symphony I'm pleased with the quality. The connection cable can't be seen, because it's located behind the radio and climate control. 7) Yes, but not of a single CD, it will always go for all of them.

Random play
I have a Alpine CHA S364. 6 disc mp3 changer connected to my Symphony, if you put it on random play, it only plays random from the selected disc but will not change discs to play random from the next disc, and so on.
I dont know if this is how it should be or a just a thing with the mp3 changer. Dave T |

[QUOTE=Rich;27858]Cheers for the replies gentlemen
6) Can I tap into one of the mini-iso plugs and feed an mp3 player in to the head unit? How do ipod things work? /QUOTE] Connects2 (www.connects2.co.uk) has ipod and aux adapter for the symphony radio that replaces the CD changer. AUX adapter (not specifically for Rover 75, but for Land Rover with Symphony): http://www.connects2.co.uk/c2search....=215&modID=505 iPod adapter: http://www.connects2.co.uk/c2search....=226&modID=547 Beware though that at least the ipod adapter (of which I have one) not really performs as advertised. For one thing have I never managed to access playlists via CD buttons. But if you can live with doing selections on the ipod only and HU/steering wheel controls for skipping tracks it might work for you.
