I wouldn't bin the other harness if I were you.... may come in handy one day for something.

Mind you, that said I have a whole box full of leads and adapters I'm "keeping just in case" !

Anyway, with the trusty VUL100330 in my hand, it has eight plugs scattered all over it, I can account for seven, leaving just one grey plug (13 pins) looking for a home. It's near to the BMW plug end of things if that helps, rather than the ISO end of things.

Any ideas where this grey plug might go?

I think they are the other end of the cables for the navigation (green) mini ISO and telephone (yellow) mini ISO)

There are Light Green/Slate, Red/White and Black (and Purple/Pink + White/Red/Yellow) cables shown on the green mini ISO.

Orange/Slate and Orange/Green (and Purple/Pink) on the yellow mini ISO. Can't account for the Purple/White though.

As it's an aftermarket accessory I think they make the one lead that covers all combinations of Symphony + Navigation + Telephone.

Just to follow this one up, the grey plug above doesn't need to go anywhere by the looks of things!

The Symphony is working fine with the CD changer and the plug is not connected to anything. Lo or Hi-Line related I guess!

Thanks to everyone for all your help on this one, everything is now working great

So... If the little grey plug is not needed, what is it there for? Something for the lo-line SatNav or something else?

Answers on pigeon to the usual address....

Not sure it is for sat nav at all. Alex had pics on here the other day of the back of the loline controls, the plug is nothing like it.

I'm wiring all this in properly tomorrow, will see how far the grey plug streches, might give us an idea
