You can unbolt the lower window rail bar 10mm bolt at bottom of the door frame, and move it to the side to get a little more room, make sure window is up fully first though.
But actuator can be replaced without doing That, as you said "wiggle and fiddle" it will go eventually.

It's important the clip goes on the threaded bar in the same place it came off.
Make sure you can open the door from inside and outside. Lock/unlock/open/close the door several times before replacing the door card. If not sometimes the position of the white clip on the threaded bar causes the mechanism to jam and it will not open from inside or outside and it is a pain to get back in there.

Actuator's back in place, it all works fine and I can now operate my door like a normal person again |
