Another thing is, if you require any spares that are hard to get there, perhaps we could help in obtaining them for you.

I suspect we could find one or two drivers side cupholders for our LHD friends.
Cheers Ian

Default Meeting

Great, thanks for the reactions, than I will get in contact with them and let you all know. Would be nice if we could have a toast all together at a border-crossing love for or cars.

It will definately stay your trip, but a short meeting with international character can maybe give it some extra dimension.

I appreciate the idea to bring spare parts, I'll keep that in mind for sure, thanks. Could be cupholders lhd rhd, we shall see (I myself just imported a 75 UK car but I guess the majority of the cars here are indeed lhd). Again, thanks for thinking along with this. Also counts for you ofcourse.

Will post again when I have news about this!

Thanks,

Emiel.

To save me searching the above 350 posts can anyone summarise about Euro breakdown cover please. I use Autoaid and my renewal is due , so can I buy a weeks Euro cover for the trip or should I take out annual cover now that includes Europe? Has to cover me not the car as I have 2 cars, both 15 and older.......

Thanks

Default Best of British

Hi Ian, and all of you, guys,

You may add me to the attendee list for the "Best of British" car show.

Ian, you may count of me, for organising the Lunch Meet, on Friday, in Flanders, on your way driving to Holland. This as spoken about, in Yeovilton, Somerset, on the past event. Personally, I don't need hotel. Please Ian, send me an email, for knowing where you expect yourselves to be, at lunch time, between 12 and 13 PM.

Referring to Ceedy's message about "green insurance" cards : Yès indeed, here in Belgium, green insurance card is obligated. If not having in possession here in Belgium, your car may be confiscated by the police. I know all about it, as I know about these regulations, as insurance broker.(Belgian Law) You also need an "European Accident fill in from" in case of accident. This is not obligated, but strongly recommended.

I'm looking forward to meet you all again on September 21st at lunch, as well as on 22nd of September at the meet.

Best regards,
Eric
Belgium

Best regards,
Eric

Hello Eric
That is good information for the green card and accident form.
Is this the form that we can down load to print and carry with us? http://www.optimumdrivinggroup.co.uk...ident_form.pdf.
Thanks Ian
