I wonder if it would be possible to install a grease nipple to these arms so the ball joints could have a proper dose of grease?
If a small hole was drilled from the underside of the ball joint and a self tapping style grease nipple installed. I know the rubber could be lifted before installation to put some grease in but if the grease came in from the underside it should make these last longer. I think I have a spare arm, I will have a look to see if it is a workable idea. |

Each to their own Reece - I looked at doing something with my old one but I don't have access to a workshop to set up and accurately line bore anything these days. Decided it was safer to replace it as I had a second hand spare in the garage from the scrapper.

If they are failing after such low mileage the it can't be wearing it's probably poor machining . And no extra grease nipple will cure it.
I have had a couple of fails but the did manage about 18 months .
