Never seen it done like that before. Think I would need to see it in the flesh to comment if it looks good or not

Well there was someone selling leather dash kits on eBay last year. They were not made up of parts sewn together like the one in the pic, I guess that's what lotus lc means.

The ones for sale before were in one piece with a choice of colours for the stitching. They don't seem to be available now, I guess the walnut dash is more popular.

Fair enough, but if they were a one piece kit as you say, then why were optional stitching colours available? I used an old but good quality leather jacket and made 1 join behind the steering wheel, Its a trial attempt tbh and I appreciate any comments. There will be a mark 2 version but unlike the 75/ZT it will be an improvement over the mark 1 .
Thanks. Lee.

I think it looks different and to be quite honest I don't mind it at all.

What matters is if you like it

Good job done

So the rest of it was plain flat leather? I actually went out of my way to avoid doing that, although it was an option. There are a couple of areas I'm not happy with but it's a first attempt and I've not worked with leather before. There will be a mark 2 . Thanks to all for your comments and opinions. Lee.

Sorry Mike but what's true is true.. Mark 1 is the better quality. But I prefer the look of the mark 2 75.
Lee.

I personally like it, it was an option for me as mine originally had the light oak interior which I didn't like much. I ended up going with the real walnut, but to be honest I think it's too dark. The wood Jag dashes are a far better colour in my opinion. I have all the light oak gear which may well end up with the "leather" treatment. I have some sort of Tom Ford fetish going on lol
