Default is this the highest price for MG7 tail lights?

Made me splutter on my late night Horlicks when I came across this, surely you would have to be 'Crazy' to pay that much?

They could have bumped the price up as none in stock at mo, however, these are the cheap ones which sell for about £110, genuine mg7 lamps are of a far superior quality and sell for about £160.

That's interesting. How do I know which version I have? I paid something over £160 as I recall. Anyway, internally they appear cheap and nasty, flimsy tin bulbholders, individual wires and self-tappers holding everything together. And an LED rear light that sears at the eyes of a following driver. But these are what most members seem to have received in the Radioguy days. However, the very first MG7 lamps ever to be demonstated on the forum were very like the MGR ones internally. I've never believed the commonly available lamps were 'genuine'. The problem these days, is knowing what is.

Maybe they are collection only and the price includes the flight to Taiwan.

the cheap copies have wires, crimps and screws connecting all the internals

The originals have metal strips.

These types of lights would look just about ok on a battered 15-year old Corsa driven by a spotty herbert. IMHO

So the obvious question here is, where would I buy a set of genuine MG7 lamps?
That is, the ones selling at more than £160 a set?
