Blue tint to self dimming mirror
Blue tint to self dimming mirror, got to be honest I don't know if it was already there but I don't think so.
I mis wired my self dimming mirror. Reverse wire was not and is not connected but used pins 2 and 10 instead of 3 and 10 and I think had the live and neutral were the wrong way round. Can this ruin the self dimming mirror, is the blue tint a sign of damage? thank you macafee2 |

Could be wiring it incorrectly has resulted in a permanent dimmed mode.

Bleeding would be that you loose all the fluid from the mirror.

The self-dimming mirror on my Tourer has a slight green colour to it, definately not blue.

Mirror on mine has a strong yellow tint – always has been since buying in 2014. I thought that was how it was supposed to be ...or is that faulty too?
