Roof Rail/Bars/Top Box
Hello
Went camping a couple of weeks ago (tent) and realised that I definitely need a roof box (poor child was surrounded by equipment!!) So feel free to talk to me like an idiot but do I need 3 things here? Rails/Bars and top box? Thanks in advance |

My kids know that feeling of being surrounded by luggage.
Going down to France later this week and have just fitted my roof box. My ZTT did not come with roof rails so sourced them on here from Cossiedunc. Then bought some roof bars from ebay (not expensive about £40) And was lucky enough to get a new roof box from a catalog clearance place for £50. So for less than £140 i got the full setup, easy to get it all fitted and now my missus can take what she likes on holiday and the kids wont have to suffer. |

Roof Bars
Hi Steve
I'm wanting do exactly the same as you! I'm struggling to know what sort of roof bars to get. Some sellers on eBay advertise that the fittings are universal but reading this forum I'm inclined not to believe that! What sort did you get? To by a Thule set from Halfords would cost a fortune. James |

Thanks for that but does your ZT already have factory fitted roof rails to fit those roof bars on to? Mine is the saloon 75 with no rails.

Without a doubt the best things I ever bought for my 75 saloon-click the link below which is towequippe. They supply the Mont Blanc setup which fit properly and directly into the small screw fixings on your 75 saloon roof. Lift the small black caps on the black roof strip and you will see them ready and waiting to take a set of these bars.
Not the cheapest thing in the world but much better than the horrid universal things which wrap round the rood and rip the paint off of your doors and roof line! http://www.towequipe.co.uk/products/...0-to-2005.html Oh by the way-ignore the picture on the link, the set that they supplied me came with a bolt type fixing which fitted exactly!
