Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

What an excellent notion. Signed it.

The medics call us bikers 'donors'. Anything that can be done to change that state of affairs is worth trying.

I decided to take the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) test. Part 1 The Multiple choice tests consist of 100 questions banded into four sections of 25 questions. You must score 80% in each band and achieve an overall mark of 85% to pass. It's possible to get a score of 94% and still fail if you are weak in a particular band of knowledge.

As far as I can recall there were hardly any motorcycle questions apart from give extra room so they can avoid potholes drains etc and perhaps one in the hazard awareness test. I've now passed part 2 driving ability and just have part 3 to do instructing ability.

Anyway, the petition is a good idea and hope it can work though,I think it takes a change in legislation to implement.

From personal experience, the main problems are..

1. Either cars pulling out at a 'give-way' in the face of motorcycle, simply failing to see them at all, or misjudging them.

2. Opening doors when a motorcyclist is approaching from behind, either unnoticed or sometimes even done very deliberately.

3. Changing lanes into the path of a motorcyclist, again sometimes misjudged, but often a deliberate action.
