Earlier snow is gone, still trying to snow on and off but looking over the Forth I think Fife is getting thumped!

I got soaked walking to the hairdressers & back

Still lots of sleet showers barrelling through.

Some nice shin beef has been on a low heat in oven all day

going to do some mashed spuds & steamed veg to go with it.

My missus says she doesn't want a lot as she didn't lose any weight at the weightwatchers weigh in this morning

, Looks like I'm going to make a pig of meself

Hi Dawn and Julien

We have been out for most of the day doing a bit of this and a bit of that. It’s been 36C in the shade. Just had a nap and it’s now cooler, relief. I see you have been busy doing the new roof and your under cover secret is safe

Peter H is collecting me, just myself from the airport on Sunday and running me down to Andy’s to pick up the car. The latest report is there is nothing wrong with the it, always reassuring to hear.

I couldn't live without the girls, so full of character! Old Abbey is getting very doddery and spends most of her time in her bed now, her blanket can get a bit whiffy. I got another blanket for her bed today, gives us three to cycle. I put Abbey out for a pee, put the old blanket in the washing machine and the new blanket in her bed, Pops wandered across, inspected the new blanket, must have thought "that looks cosy, I'm having that", dragged it out of Abbey's bed and lay down on it in the middle of the floor
