body control module

Hi can anyone tell me if the body control modules are the same on a mk2 between diesel and petrol?,
is it just the program put in it to dictate what they are on?

Yes they are YWC001521 or YWC001522 will be the one fitted, both support remote boot release

So i can plug a petrol in to a diesel with no wire modifications and is the body modules coded to the engine ecu and the likes or can I fit a highline one that is set for the trip computer ipk and auto wipers into a standard car thus giving enabled extras without a t4 session? Can a mk 2 ztt have remote release?
