Place to get rubber well nuts
Just in case someone else wants these. Hope not reported before.
These are for the air filter inlet on diesel models where they fit to the slam panel. Shock horror mine were rusted in place! Needed persuading to get out. Will replace with these below and stainless bolts I already have - either M6 x 16 or M6 x 20. http://www.speedyfasteners.com/m6_Ru...ts_p/sf141.htm 5 of came to £4.10 including delivery. Cheaper than ebay through same people or getting rimmed for £1+ each plus postage of at least £3.50 ish. Will keep you updated on fit. |

Andrew
I have used undertray fixing screws with 'spires' on the air intake holes to fix it to the slam panel. Rubber tap washers can be used to isolate the intake from the slam panel, to avoid vibration problems. Another option for folks to consider. Cheers Pete |

Thanks guys. Good options. Similar price MB if you order 6 of them.
If you must have 10 of them, a very good price. |

Just fitted these. They are a very slightly looser fit than the originals as they do not have the shoulder to lock into the holes in the inlet.
But, they held just fine with M6 x 16 stainless bolts and a small stainless washer in the slam panel. I fitted a cut down tap rubber washer to make the well nuts a tighter fit. |
