![]() Scenario, last year I used a car cover for when the car wasn't used over winter, but, in October, I took it off to go down to Tom Hobbs for welding. Never put the cover back on and just left the car parked up.
Washed as usual over the months and never noticed anything untoward ![]() Then, as the sun made it's appearance last week ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So I set about them with what I have in the shed ![]() ![]() 2 days by hand and then rotary, nowt, never touched them ![]() ![]() So on Monday I ordered a Hex Logic yellow pad and some SSR-3 compound ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope I haven't bored you ![]() |

![]() Very satisfying result. I aim to do similar when time permits. Very side- tracked by changing the drive belt on an old ride on mower. More than bargained for so far

![]() Good results - very satisfying.
Surprised the rotary didn't sort them though, would have thought it would have taken care of them no problem ![]() ![]() Cliff

![]() Hi looks good, wondering if it would reduce scratches -on drivers door glass -as it is mentioned on the advert for it?

It might but glass is rather different - significantly harder. You'll probably get some improvement but you may need a Cerium Oxide polish - something like this: https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/carpro-ceriglass-polish and a rayon pad - https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/flexi...polishing-pads. Plus the pad needs to be kept damp and cleaned regularly and it's a time consuming job. Maybe just give it a go and see what results come along? I don't think you've anything to lose and it might be enough to get close enough to how you want it. Good Luck. Andy. Last edited by AndyN01; 23rd April 2020 at 21:09.. |
