Hi John,

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you both John and Jan. Thank you very much for your good wishes. We went through some hard and difficult times but I am doing well now with the support of a strong woman "push, push, push" and I received excellent treatment and care. As such, I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones and now look forward to next year and beyond with a big weight off my shoulders.

Jessica and I send you our love and wish you both and the family a healthy and enjoyable Christmas and New year.

Recently seen at the bird table, a frequent and colourful visitor who can be a bully towards the smaller birds, pushing them out of the way for food and water. This one is a breeding male... called a Baglafecht Weaver. Thank you for looking.

Good morning Jeff and thank you for those comments. The quality has improved since upgrading the camera with more megapixel etc, my next challenge will be to try out a built in feature called “Pro Capture” which is designed for taking photos or videos in high speed action such as birds in flight, aircraft, trains, sadly F1 is not available locally.
