Morning Phil, Richard and all, it’s not just Sheffield that’s like this Richard, unfortunately it’s most places these days, glad your mate didn’t get hurt.

Morning Phil, she’s a lovely looking dog too. I don’t think the coach will be taken back to the scene, there is no point, the police weren’t interested. I sincerely hope that the boss will make an official complaint against South Yorkshire police. It’s terrifying to think what could have happened, they could have tried torching the bus, or smashing the windscreen. Luckily the damage was not enough to stop it being driven back home. This occurred about 4.30 pm, I was just starting my shift, and that’s when the boss took the call to inform him of what happened, and he told me.

It’s more the fact that the bizzies weren’t interested Andy, the driver could have been seriously injured or even killed.

Cool

Morning all.

Grey and overcast here at the moment.

Had a wander round Saltram House, well around the gardens as I got there too late to go round the house. Will go back when the weather picks up a bit.

Off out again today, going to see if I can get Redfive’s wheels refurbished. Been offered a set of refurbished Apex’s with tyres for the wheels.
In fact I’ve had 6 offers to buy the wheels off of me.

Morning all looks like a nice day on the cards here and a bit warmer for a change.

Rich You can tell it's half term here! an entire fleet of bus's/mini bus's had all their windows smashed t'other night at the depot and then they collected as many wheelie bins as they could & set them alight.
They reckon the "new craze" now is smelling the toxic fumes to get high, Darwinism is alive and well it would seem.

I can think of better things to do during school holidays, makes you wonder who thinks, “ let’s do this, it will be great for kicks!” Where the hell are the parents?

Kids will always be kids - and mine were no angels - but the only thing they got caught for was swapping peoples garden ornaments around

A Gnome was halfway round the town before anyone noticed.

And they confessed later that they had also swapped peoples hanging baskets. Presumably no one ever noticed....

But no mindless damage - God help them if they had!!

But “Where are the parents?” is the most relevant question here. On more than one occasion whilst caravaning we would observe families arrive on site, and by mid afternoon the kids were running riot whilst the parents were getting steadily rat-@rsed and becoming louder and louder.

With role models like that - it’s little wonder they see nothing wrong in what they do.

Morning gentlefolk - the sun is nigh on burning the eyeballs out this morning - fair beaming through the window it is. Now that we're in late February, it's getting up above the hills too, so we see more of it. The only problem is that if you're not in direct sunlight, the wind which has re-appeared drops the temperature by a fair few degrees.

Dull and overcast here. But no rain so good for getting on with all the outside jobs.

The same thing. When I got a 75 written off a few years ago, called the police as I’m sure the driver who hit me without stopping was on his phone their reply was ‘not sending anyone as no one hurt’
