I've had the camera twice, no intention of having another go. I've got a real problem with the prep goo, think watery wallpaper paste "flavoured" with the cheapest diluting orange juice you can get, I've never managed to take the full amount, both times I ended up hurling the last of it, hence the problems during the procedure. As I said the doc wanted another go but I left him in no doubt about my opinion of that idea so settled for a CT scan.

I miss when Ging worked down in The Lakes for a while. I'd go down regularly and always hit the two local butcher's shops that made pork pies in house. During the summer one did various flavours including one that had a mild chilli flavour

Here's Quizzie having a paddle.

To give you an idea, in the summer the river was about 10m wide and Quizzie could walk from one side to the other with her tummy barely getting wet. . It's now maybe 60-70m wide.

The base of the tree on the left is usually well over a metre above the water. I'd guess the river is 2-3m above its normal level.

The girls have very differing opinions about water;
Maya - loves it! She'd be straight in there.
Suzy - kinda indifferent. Might paddle a bit although she did once jump off a jetty into Lake Windermere trying to catch a duck!
Poppy - I'm not going anywhere near that!

Morning all.

Cloudless sky .

Chilly.

It's Thursday so Quizzie is looking forward to her romp with her friends - well, she would be if she wasn't already curled back up, asleep. I'm looking forward to the chat, cuppa and cake.

What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday morning .

We have the same weather here today, cloudless sky but as you say a bit cooler. Apparently about we have more rain this afternoon, but tomorrow is supposed to be dry. I hope it’s stays dry on Saturday so I can steam clean and polish the car for the winter starting.
