Thumbs up

Yep, definitely keep the screen seperate from the board, excellent idea. I like your original position in the first post.

I would definitely buy a kit from you and solder it all together, if you get to that point.

Default temperature gauge

As I am currently looking at getting a 75 with the 1.8 t engine this temperature gauge could help me make my mind up to 'go for it'. I would have to go for a ready made one though. Thanks for the work on the gauge!

Hans, I think it would be useful if the alarm could self-test during start-up, a little like the other gauges do. This would provide reassurance that the alarm is actually functional before starting the engine.

Hans,

This looks to be a great piece of kit.

I will definately be in the queue when it is rolled out.

Keep up the good work.

Default another update

The pcb's [printed circuit boards] for the display have arrived.

A picture of the display parts before assembly:

Some after assembly:

And finally under test:

That's all fine.

I have ordered 20 pcb's for the electronic part, just to make sure they turn out OK, before ordering more.
Should get them within a fortnight.

So guys, be patient, slowly getting there.
