The build records show at least 15 diesel 75s were exported to NZ, there could be more as the Cowley data I have is not complete. As for imports from other foreign countries such as Singapore, who can know

That is also something I often wondered about as well.
A diesel 75 is a model I would like to own myself. Graeme

Agreed Rovering, a diesel one would be the best of both worlds! UK members have no idea how lucky they are! |

Been day dreaming a bit more about this idea aye.
I'm looking at diesel estates on ebay uk, and thinking it might be worth the cost of shipping it here if I were to keep it for a decent time. Has anyone done this before? Kiwis or Aussies? |

Please tell me your aunt has a diesel 75 for sale
Hmmm it seems I might not be able to import a diesel, unless the Rover 75 meets Euro IV emission standards Last edited by Indiana_Jones; 23rd July 2013 at 08:36.. |

I did look on the NZ Autotrader etc and couldn't find any Diesel versions of the 75 although there were about 6 petrol versions. I then looked into the possibility of shipping over my Diesel 75 but if I remember correctly, it couldn't be done due to the emission standards.

Yep seems that way, sadly.
Where you looking at moving to? Auckland? (most people seem to move there) I might just give up on that idea and look towards a French wagon. |

There are a handful around - wish I'd bought the NZ new 2002 wagon on sale on trademe a while back for 14k. I think immigrants vehicles may be exempt the emissions standard if owned for 12 months first.
