Default Bonnet stuck down

Exactly the same thing happened to me at the weekend! Flat battery on friday, removed plastic top from battery compartment and put it to one side on the engine, started car then slammed down bonnet before replacing plastic cover now bonnet free on one side, stuck on the other and slack cable inside the car.
Could someone PM me please with info on how to release it...

Thanks

Martin

Default Bonnet wont open.. Arrgghhh

My bonnet refuses to open, the handle just moves and it sounds as if the cable has snapped, anyone know where I could get a new cable, or a second hand one at a reasonable price. ?????
