Sussex gathering?
Would anybody be interested in meeting up one Sunday afternoon?
Nothing special just a car park or something? Was thinking maybe ash down forest on the a22 or one of the many car parks dotted around the forest (good photo opp) ?

Maybe because you posted in this section and not everyone looks......put it on general forum and I reckon you would get more interest

The MGR Kent and Surrounding group have a meet every month - in fact our July meet was just up the road from you guys near Halstead, right on the East Sussex/Kent border.
Our next one is on the 25th at The Long Reach pub, Whitstable - just a few hundred yards off the A299. I'm sure Bob (Flying Banana); who normally posts up the details of these meets in this section will do so with the details of the next in due course Always a decent turn out, and some great cars/owners too. Here's the Facebook page. Event Disclaimer Please be aware these are not official Rover 75/MG ZT Owners Club meets and as such not covered by the Club's public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meets in anyway. ------- ONWARDS & UPWARDS

Would like to get to one of the Kent and surrounding meets but alas I think I be working on the 25th
I thought of Sussex as if members are the opposite side to Kent it is a long way I will come up with a date and post in the the main forum for us Sussex lads and lasses. I see on the Facebook page there's a regular meet and a different meet organised. Maybe us lot in Sussex could do something similar and join forces for the different meet? I better add this as I forgot in my first post Event Disclaimer Please be aware these are not official Rover 75/MG ZT Owners Club meets and as such not covered by the Club's public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meets in anyway. -------

Just a thought here ........................... when we lived down South (Horley) Brighton which was only 25 miles away was thought quite a distance and this sort of mid set seems quite normal to those who have everythign on their dorrstep. However after moving up here it is normal to travel distances that once we thought too far for example to Morrisons or Tescos for shopping is now a 25+ mile round trip.
So this makes driving 100 odd miles for a meet or event almost normal now. Just a thought. There are some beautiful places around your neck of the woods that have car parks large enough to hold a gathering .
