I need to insulate a fuel pipe, do Halfords sell anything suitable or can anyone think of anything home made to do such a thing?

I do have a book, yeah. Thanks mate.

I have had a damn frustrating day, but has finished rather satisfactorily. I had to re route the pipe from the tap. In the end I just made my own from steel pipe. Works beautifully now. next job, carb balance and tune up It's a little sluggish so I think they need doing especially after I replaced the jets and float needles. also transmission oils.
Don't suppose you have any almond panels col, and a light grey carpet you want shot of? I only need the bit that goes under the seats. Not the centre console. Someone has replaced it with green house carpet!

Cheers Col. I don't know whether my doors are that bad to be honest I need to take it to my bodyshop man to ask him.

Are fuel gauge senders easy to get out? My gauge doesnt work! Only goes up to 1/4 tank.
Rear 1/4 panels, mine aren't what I would call solid. They aren't loose but you can definately move them if you wobble them. Not loose. More bendy.
