that may be against the law and leave me liable... so no i could not...
all of the speedo's i produce are mapped on the exact co-ordinates of the originals...

Of all the cars I've driven or owned the most accurate speedo was the VW1302S being virtually spot on over its range. The worst was my 1969 Skoda 1000MB which read 90 when the car eventually got to 75!

I've found Honda cars to be almost spot on with their speedo readout.

The speedo does over-read. As said the digital readout is better, as it over-reads less.

What ever became of the Construction nad Use regulations?

As I recall this specified the maximum a speedo could read in error and I thoguht that was a maximum of 10%. Obviously it' either ignored or no longer in force. I am going for ignored.

Interestingly the Honda based 623 seems to match what those road side speed signs flash up. The 75 however does not..................... as stated it exaggerates the cars speed.

i always sit at 60-65 through the 50 zones on the motorway and have never had a problem. i think there average cameras have alot of leniency?? back off to cornwall tomorrow for 2 days so will test it again and see if i get a ticket!

some of my cars have been 2-3 mph out at 100 mph, some have been nearly 7-8 ( i always do it at 100 as then its easier to get a % that it is out.) the jag seems 2 mph over reading on the speedo. but as said, GPS isnt always bang on its self.

oh and
