Might just give this a pop, only live up the road and just picked up an MG ZT 190 for the princely sum of £400. Bargainus Maximus.

Do they have any similar meets on the quay in August ? They used to have Mini nights etc back when I had my Mini and it was good to turn up in a standard looking roundnose but with a Nova GTi Engine and nitrous onboard..... Vroom Vroom !!

There re still car nights on Poole Quay. Every Friday 5pm-9pm.

Different makes each week, but unfortunatly they don't have a Rover Night. Shame on them.

Perhaps 'Scribler' with his council contacts could get us a spot. would be fabulous.

You know a Rover Night would be a great idea. I would love to see all ages of Rover collected in one place and owned by enthusiasts.

There is a meet fairly close to you on the 6th October at the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum ..
There is a thread running about it on the South West meets page

Thanks for finding a suitable date. 8th Sept is fine for me.

The only comment I would make is start time. !2pm start time gives very little time to chat and then get to Weatherspon at 1pm.

Would 10 or 11 0'clock be better ?
