Since owning a Rovewr 75 Connoisseur its never had FM radio (which it should) advise so far has been change to radio satnav head or whatever its known as, and a receiver, both of which have been changed and still no Fm signals.
Can anyone help please.... Trevor PS could it be anything to do with the white box directly behind the radio sat/nav headset ???..... what is that for anyway....doesn't seem to do anything when its unplugged. |

What radio is installed in your car etc First thing I would be checking is that the aerial is connected at the radio end and the rear screen end

Do you have the highline sat nav system with TV screen in the dash?
Thread moved into the ICE section for more focused coverage. The white box is the steering wheel control interface BTW

All radios, tv etc require an aerial to receive signals The unit you have should have a module in the boot where the spare wheel resides and the aerials for the Tv and the Radio should be connected to that module. Worth checking, its under a plastic cover you will have to remove if memory serves me correctly.

If your radio is stuck on AM and won't switch to FM, you can try this reset option
1. Switch off unit using main on/off button (one with the orange triangle on the bottom right of the unit) 2. Switch on the unit using the same button 3. Within 8 seconds press and hold the TP button, on the unit, until the radio station read out re-appears and music etc can be heard 4. Switch off the unit again 5. Switch the unit back on and you can then select all radio bands along with CD, tape and tuner. This should reset your Highline Radio. The antenna for the AM & FM signal comes from the rear screen elements. There is an amplifier tucked behind the passenger side rear D post trim, if the above reset doesn't work, it maybe that the amp has failed. |
