Default Differences between the Rover 800 KV6 Inlet manifold and the ZT KV6

Hi all, ongoing with my supercharger project I'm trying to tackle one of the hardest aspects, the inlet manifold.

I can't use the plastic KV6 manifold because I'll be sending plastic into my engine in no time. I know the Rover 800 used an alloy inlet manifold, what are the main design differences. It doesn't use VIS right? Also does anyone know if it'll for in a ZT bay?

I know the ZS boys have made this fit, as everytime I have advertise one it has been snapped up. Maybe worth asking over on .org in the ZS section or on facebook.

I saw that someone made the upper manifold fit onto the later KV6 lower manifold by using a spacer, one thought was to buy both the lower and upper from an 800 and fit them, this would be cheaper than a custom manifold, however space is a concern and leaves very little to no space for a charge cooler.

If I were doing what you are doing, I would use the lower part of the 800 manifold then custom make the upper from aluminium, at least that way you can make it fit the space you have.

Why the 800 and not the ZT lower?
