Default Grey V8 Kyle of Lochalsh

On my tour of Scotland I’ve remarked in another post that I haven’t seen any other 75/ZT’s however when I thought everything was lost I spotted a silver mk 2 in a car park at Fort Augustus and thought that was the best I was going to get. Today I had a run up to the Isle of Skye and on my return called into the Kyle of Lochalsh and spotted a Grey V8 Parked outside of the hotel overlooking the water. I raced up and grabbed a couple of pictures before a lady came out of the hotel to ask what I was doing. I explained my love of 75’s and she said it was her boss’s car and she laughed and said she doesn’t like it ! I think from her accent she may have been Spanish and probably thought my interest is a strange English thing !

A Scottish version of Fawlty Towers by the sound of things, the owner of the V8 probably thrashes it with a branch when it fails to start........

There happily is a relatively low cost solution to these type of problems

I don’t how he’s able to keep the tank full as there’s only a petrol station every 50 miles ! Her reg number is MDM111 if anyone knows this car.

Yes that's him . I was standing at the traffic lights on the main road when he passed me . The car looks like it has been well enjoyed
