It must be a T4 thing...
Mine doesn't do the parking lights bit at all, but it does do the get-you-to-the-front-door bit (to the extent that I sometimes have to tell people that 'no, I haven't left the lights on'). In addition, I can't have just the 5W sidelights on, but my dips are lit too - like the "dim-dip" that the Metro had... |

I just ordered 2 good bulbs from amazon.
Opened up the bonnet and found out that the bulbs aren't the same. Then I saw that just reached out for the wrong lights lol It is very hard to reach to it. You need small hands. I reach for the rubber cap. But I guess I can't change it that easy. Need to unscrew some things |

And if the bulb really is at 30% brightness then it's possible there's a bad connection somewhere and the bulb is ok.
...Yes, I'm thinking of chafed headlight wiring on the loom below the headlight over the chassis arm.
