Well, the front end reminded me of an old Consul. The horror of taking it to a garage and asking someone to fix it though

[QUOTE=Teflon;2711608]Should the unthinkable ever happen and my Baby met her end, I may just have found a possible replacement. It won't be to everyones taste, but I really like it - it puts me in mind of the old Morris Oxford/Austin Cambridge of the '60's.

Quite expensive though, and it would have to be imported from China.

You're all going to hate it, I know

Dear Teflon,

I particularly like the red pedestrian chopper at the sharp end. Looks like it lights up too. After all, it is only fair to give the peds a clue and a chance. And the impressive flesh scoops round the headlights look like they could make sure you nailed any wayward pedestrians who managed to evade the central bonnet mounted chopper. The back end does indeed look like a 300C prairie yacht. So the back is General Motors, and the front is 60's motors in general. Neat.

Best wishes, Frank B

My first “official car” was an Austin Cambridge and yes it does look rather like it.

Not so sure about this one though and certainly not with a V12 under the hood.

I had a Wolseley 16/60, which, to match the numbering system, cost me £60.
It had leather seats, walnut dash and a chrome grill.
Forget the V12 it had a 1622cc "B" series pumpimg out the power.

We used to go down to the coast in the summer.
The girl friend, at the time, looks a bit cold though!
