Cool 51-plate Moonstone 2.5 V6 auto Connoisseur saloon. ***SOLD***

For sale is my 2001 51-plate Rover 75 2.5 V6 auto Connoisseur saloon.
The car is finished in Moonstone metallic light green with a black leather interior.
This is quite an unusual combination, I think, as Moonstone cars generally have a Sandstone interior.
It has covered 103,140 miles. MoT (no advisories) until 24th January 2020.
Serviced last February but has only covered 3,000 or so miles since and had an interim check-up in August.

It has the following features:
Electric slide and tilt sunroof (fully functioning and doesn't leak)
6-CD multi-changer
Cruise control
Climate control
Leather seats - heated, electrically adjustable with memory settings
Rear parking sensor (doesn't operate properly)

I have owned the car for a year and a half. It has three previous owners.
I bought it from the estate of an elderly gentleman who had owned it since 2004.
He had the car on a private plate and it is now back on its original number.

It is in very good all round condition.
The exterior is rust-free and the interior is in really good condition too - no rips or bits falling off!
The garage where it was MoT'ed remarked on how very solid it is, including underneath, and how you don't often see 75s in this condition anymore.
Last year it passed first time.
This time it failed initially on faded indicator bulbs and the wiper blades which perished while I wasn't using the car for a few weeks.
It now has a year's MoT with no advisories.

The cam belts were changed last Easter so they are not due for over five years, or to put it another way, April 2024!
It also had a new oil cooler, water pump and thermostat housing. The grand total was £939.47 (ouch...)

I have a comprehensive history file to go with the car containing bills for many thousands of pounds and all the old MoT certificates.

I'm asking £1200 o.n.o., initially, but with so few of the cars around these days it's difficult to arrive at a valuation.
I'm open to negotiation to arrive at whatever a fair price might currently be.

Due to family reasons, I'm doing bigger miles than I was.
And so I've bought a boring, modern fuel-efficient car and I can't afford to run two...

The car is located in Ipswich, East Anglia. Photos below.

Cheers

Paul

Default Advertising elsewhere

Oh, well, zero interest here in a really good car... I'd have snapped this up if I were looking for a 75 v6. It has to go as my new car has arrived and I can't afford to run two. I was hoping it would go to an enthusiast. It's now being advertised elsewhere.

Default Car now SOLD

Well, my beautiful 75 v6 Connoisseur has now SOLD through another website. A sad day but I just couldn't afford to run two cars... I'm guessing the lack of interest on the forum must be because everyone here already has a 75 in fabulous condition!
