See this post by Picky747 you can download a patch for the unit and add a USB port then buy a TMC US receiver fir the TMC.

You should have been supplied a GPS aerial when you brought the unit.

hello tony i did connect the gps arial and it has a magnet on the end i remember someone posting a message that they put the magnet on the frame for the dashboard behind the radio, so i put it there and for some reason i get a message while i drive that the signal has been lost?
i would guess that the arial that came with the double din is not strong enough for being behind the dashboard. i can only guess that i will need something better to sit out in the open ?

thanks you tony

Adrian,it was me that put it behind the instrument panel using the magnet to attach to the crossmember and I've never had a problem with the signal. It's in the same place as my TMC receiver ,thats why I chose that location!

I would suggest that the GPS receiver is mounted in the open, I have mine mounted on the dash, I never have a problem with the unit loosing the signal.

Default steering wheel control

Hi everyone, I'm writing from Italy; my MG ZT 2003 wasn't equipped with navy system so I bought the one you are talking about; to install it I followed the instructions but I can't find any yellow/blue/green plastic connector; can you tell me where the black/green wire has to be connected ?
To connect the new unit (double din) I used a connector ISO BMW Thanks a lot
Fabiano
