Great film, great soundtrack. Haven't seen the remake, wouldn't want to see the remake . . . . and on that subject, what idiot at the BBC decided to have another go at "Porridge"

It's a sequel rather than a remake and continues 20 or so years after the original with some original cast. They managed to keep the feel of the enviroment about right and the soundtrack was still in keeping but it just didn't quite grab me like the first but still definately worth a watch.

An appalling conclusion to the great treatment he had received right up until that last moment. Of course Derek deserves much better, he deserves the best. |
