Default Colin's new baby

Well what can we say about this one, picked it up about 3 P.M., as promised the vendor had made sure it would start, so after Colin handed over the cash, we were on our way.
Taking it steady pootling along, with only the muted purr of the motor for company, I decided the best course of action would be to wind all four windows down, as I was very warm with my heavyweight tshirt on.
So cautious as I was when driving someone else's car simply enjoyed the backing track to the exhaust, until we found the entrance to the A1, then with just a light touch on the throttle, whoooooosh .
Nice to have a bit of torque to go with the horses, and as the yanks say, there's no substitute for cubic inches.
Tourer for me though

Looks very superficial Ronnie, I'm going up to Colin's on Saturday to T4 his new bairn, so I'll know better as Col's stripping of the bumper to have a proper look.

Be careful trying to interrogate the engine management system, on the v8 it often crashes

Don't try to run all tests automatically do one section at a time

Hi Colin, Russ has warned me that the diags weren't completed for the V8 by Omitec, probably because the money to pay the Omitec bill had been spent on fuel for the V8 pool car
P.S. does your car look as austere as Colin's super X-Power dreary grey

Well a 9 mile test drive was enough for me, and I'm looking for a tourer
But preferably, NOT silver, or grey.
So what's the difference between the 260 & the 400 then
