Did you connect it up with the cover off to see if there's any movement? You probably will not be able to move the cog wheels manually because of the gearing. Try lubricating, then connect it up again. Have a look to see if a disc has jammed somewhere.

yep......removed the outer casing, no movement at all in the tray collection arm thingy...

oh well.....suppose its Johnny Walker and Chris "Bl**dy" Evans for a while....
