Default Walnut dash kit

Hi all,

I was thinking about getting one of the Walnut Dash Company kits for my 75 but I got a bit unsure about the part covering the stereo fascia. My car will have the newer flush Iovox type once I get my new HU to replace the symhpony.

Anyone here who knows wether the single-din walnut trim is for the flat fascia, the curvy one or both?

Cheers!

If you have the fascia with the cubby box above the stereo then you need option "a" on the site. This fascia was in my 75 from new with the Iovox fitted.

I don't want to put you off but I had quite a lot of trouble with the Walnut Dash Company on the same issue.

I have a VDO stereo and I bought the kit from them on ebay. However the radio trim was wrong. I had a hell of a job contacting them but finally after months of trying, they made a trim for my fascia.

Unfortunately it didn't fit either. I gave up in the finish as they obviously didn't want to try and help.

So if you have a VDO stereo - BEWARE

Err they are quite tricky to get hold off aren't they............Luckily the fit was 99% correct on mine (symphony)

Try winning one off them via e-bay got mine for £34 you still pick the spec and I don't think poor feedback would go down to well..

Or you could try the easily contactable, very helpful and pleasant TOC panels where I and a few others have bought ours from.

Dont have any info with me, but either someone will have them to hand or I will post them later when I get home.

Here are the details for TOC, if you enquire they send you a sample and a shadow sheet, so you can match the bits you need against all the variants.

Henry at toc was great for me being an international buyer. Cost a NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- fortune on exchange rate but the kit was excellent.

He is a great bloke, offered to make a one off panel for the lowline sat nav unit in mine, if I could get down there and let him measure it up. I still havent got around to doing this yet.
