Got taken round Castle Coombe in a road going MG6 by Paul Luti (google him)

Awesome

The chassis is fantastic, needs more power for race purposes

MG6 diesel is under test at Longbridge as are some other engine configs

I read somewhere quite recently, that MG are looking into a 2l petrol turbo - about 200bhp.

Also, that a V6 is being considered. Can't see it personally for this country, what with the price of petrol.

We'll see...

Still no MG advertising on TV or in the press or on billboards.

Windy on the dark side is about the only person who thinks MG-SAIC are doing a good job! Its all very sad for the Longbridge workers and the current UK dealers.

Perhaps they should speak to Landrover as the new Range Rover Evoque Dynamic petrol version has a 2 litre Turbo @ 240BHP - drives & handles extreemly well ( I have ordered one!!) This engine is also to go in next years Ford Focus RS..

MG sold 7 cars last month... yes 7 from about 35-40 dealers.

They were the worst performing car maker in the UK (of the one's still actively trading here).

Will Longbridge survive on this pathetic number? And how long before the dealers pack up?
