It is the correct part but I wouldn't buy it. Regardless of what a seller says there is a good chance it is in the same state as yours.
You have a few options. Have all speeds on your fan failed? is your fan a two speed or three speed fan? If it is a two speed and only the lower speed. has failed then the motor is fine and it is simply a resistor that requires changing If it is a three speed and any of the speeds work then you could rebrush it. Options: 1. change the failed resistor on a two speed fan. 2. rebrush your existing fan. Cheap but Labour intensive and if you have no speeds left on your existing fan it may not cure the problem. 3. a good tested guaranteed used fan from a reputable trader ( to be found on here) 4. a new original fan ( Eyewateringly expensive) 5. Contact Arctic who will sell you a known good working order Fan and arrange to have guidance on how to fit it (with assistance from the Nano crew) at the next Nano meet in Wolverhampton in June. 6. Contact jules on here for a new replacement aftermarket fan

Cheers. I give someone on here a buzz then to see if they can help.
It's a 2 speed fan BTW.

if its a two speed it is unlikely it has failed, almost certainly the resistor.
You have a PM

I have had a PM from David, he comes to the nano regular, i have also said to him he can wait until June meet and it can be checked properly. I only have one 2 speed and that as been allocated already, his may only be the resistor, we will soon find out on the day.

As Dave says drop Steve (Arctic) an email or pm, you'll get it sorted at the next Nano weekend or he might be able to sort it beforehand. If you've got a diesel you'll be ok till the nano as diesels run cool and rarely overheat.
Martyn. I'm too slow typing lol, you beat me to it Steve, odds on its the resistor. Last edited by squire; 24th May 2018 at 15:37.. Reason: To slow typing |

Cheers for the help everyone. I'll just get them to fit the replacement pipe I bought and wait till the June Nano.

Got the car back.
Looks like I may have some good news at least - there doesn't appear to be any evidence of leaks so far, so providing I can get the fan going again, I should be ok,
