MG GS test driven today
Test drove top of the range new GS today in burnt orange.
Build quality appears good. Liked the high seating position. Very responsive 1.5 petrol engine. Clutch issue with revs dropping of slowly when clutch pressed in, burnt clutch material smell! Comfortable cabin extremely well equipped, but seat squab seemed short compared to my 75. Insufficient under thigh support unless seat put right back. Held road well. Felt every bump and hole but I guess that is inevitable on 18 inch alloys with low profile tyres. Wife liked it and we both agreed it's a nice drive and really good value for money compared with what other SUVs |

Presumably you didn't experience the clutch issue that I did then? When will you take delivery? I will be very interested to see how you get on. A different dealership has also offered me a drive so I will get a second chance to rate it

Well if they work as well as the MG6 on lpg it will be a winner, our local taxi firm uses a 6 running in gas and has had no issues at all and it's coming up to 100k
