Talking Golfing in Yorkshire

I took some friends in the 75 to a nice little golf course near Wakefield the other day. When we got there my friends decided to drink in the bar insted of playing a round,so rather than miss a game,i thouight why not ask a stranger.

Anyway, there was only 1 taker,a bloke called Kevin from Monk Bretton (Barnsley) he looked a little scruffy, not even wearing Farrer or Pringle, just a plain pair of strides, and a dirty Tshirt with lewd writing on it,and green flip flips (not flip flops,he had a shorter leg, lol)

Im going to win this i thought,so i got out my £2 coin to toss, and Kevin was foaming at the mouth,he`d never seen so much money, poor lad.

Anyway,he teed off,and to my surprise he hit it straight and true,it was a lovely stroke, and i just couldnt help myself,i said "what an excellent t shot young man"

Young Kevin replied "duz tha like it owd luv,it were 3 for a quid off t Thorseby market,av gor em in t Blue an t yeller an all tha nose" .

Sorry if you dont understand the lingo.its a Yorkshire thing
