Colin D's old car....
It’s an 05 reg Contemporary SE CDTi (135 bhp) auto with the SE option pack, finished in Firefrost with black leather seats (heated / memory) and 17” star spoke alloys.
It has Xenon lights, a sun roof and a nine speaker Harmon Cardon sound system with a six stack CD player. The body colour side mouldings were replaced with chrome and a set of Crofts door finishers added. The front lower grill was replaced with stainless mesh. It has a genuine MGR dual tuner radio for constant TMC updates and a 2009 sat nav disk. Door mirrors are folding and fitted with chrome covers. There is a torch in the front arm rest together with a power socket and the handbrake and gear gaiters are leather. The Project drive changes have been reversed with genuine new MGR parts so it has twin tone horns and carpeted centre console filler panels together with the original type of fittings under the rear floor. There is a further power socket in the load area and the load cover has a cargo net. The plastic black oak dash was replaced with a genuine burr walnut one and the steering wheel is black leather / burr walnut . There are four cup holders fitted. The car is MOTed until March 2010 and has a full service history. Unmarked inside and out. Dealer is Beadles in Aylesford 01622 711234 |

Thanks for posting that pondweed, sounds like a nice car, but if someone offered me an automatic 08 plate with 10,000 miles on the clock for a grand, I would not enjoy driving it. Half of what makes members (myself included) look back at their car as they walk away from it, is the pleasure they get from driving it to where they parked it. If it was an auto, as hard as you may find it to believe. It may as well be this duotone Firefrost & pearl black convertible with chrome powerfold headlights, and wheel arches big enough for you to take the wheel off and hold a nano meet underneath it.
I'm fed up after missing that one in fife. Think I will go and sulk

Don't forget Walnut or Real Wood were not fitted to MK2 generally Light Oak Plastic.
But of course can be changed as I did. |

After months of searching, I appreciate members trawling around and pointing suitable ones out. Lewis (Rabett Rover) pointed me to a few, he found 2 that were perfect that ticks EVERY box, except the walnut that I was not expecting. 1st was sold when I rang the next morning, the 2nd one is below. It is what I have spent months searching for, and I have set my heart on it, but I would want without question, and quite easily spend £2,500++ on mods in the first few weeks. This also includes essentials due to its 150k. In my case it is not a matter of what it is worth, but what I am prepared to pay. So monday it will be or

Totally agree. Specially the bit about dealers. The bigger and plusher the place they have the more I think that they want me to pay for it all including their wages I always get a AA test or equivelent doneif it is a lot of money. If the seller soesn´t want to then there is something dodgy... walk away
