I have a White Gold 75 and will be painting my calipers Gold. A rather dull Gold mind you. Not at all shiny.
Just something to consider...

To be honest it could do with being done again now over a year later as the Satin Black is not hard wearing and suffered a bit in the winter - but they still look far better than they did before. I still have the masks so it would not take that much effort - I even have the part used rattle can on the shelf.

I like the smart looks and the understatement of the Satin Black rather than gloss or a colour.

With Hairpins especially the brake assemblies are very much "on show" so some attention needs to be paid to them IMO - but i do not like the "Boy Racer" image of coloured or even gloss.
If you used spray lacquer over the paint it would probably have lasted better.

Because painting break calipers is mostly done to make the vehicle look more sporty. And in my case i want to look it "classy" not sporty because i think it wont suite my Blue Rover 75.

I am wondering about what you guys think about painting break calipers on a Rover 75. Will it ruin the classy look?
I repaint my callipers and rear hubs on my Tourer using 'Eastwood' cast iron look spray, it makes the parts look really great and being a Rover nicely understated, Coloured callipers look OK on a ZT, but I think look a bit 'tacky' on a 75.
