It's now day 6 after cell infusion. I feel terrible, however the doctor has informed me that everything's going according to plan, and that it's normal to feel rough at this stage. He also told me that from today onwards it's now just a case of how long it takes me to recover.

If all goes well, I should be out by my mothers birthday on the 27th.
I think that knowing what the score is with your treatment and the side
effects your getting, is half the battle won. It’s progressive that your doctor has told you everything, you know what to expect and that you have internet access.

From my knowledge of the members here, there is quite a following to do with train sets and model making. When your feeling stronger or bored, you might think about starting a thread in the social section here. It’s only a suggestion. I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for letting us know how you are. In my youth, I built a hovercraft and many Airfix models, but never got round to trains.

Update*

Feel a bit tired today - had no sleep due to incredible pain at the hickman line entrance. Doctors have scheduled an ultrasound to determine if anything is wrong.

On the plus side, doctors told me this morning that the evidence to date suggests that there is a 99 percent chance the transplant has been a success.

Good morning Dave, any news about the Hickman Line. Are they going to leave or reposition it? Anyway, how are you?

Good morning Dave, any news? The pain and the issue with the line, hopefully the doctors can help you with that. You have been doing so well. No rush, but do keep in touch.
