Default TF Turbo

I'm down at MJS in Littlehampton where Redfive is having New Disc's and pads fitted. Mike Stafford, owner of MJS, suggested I take a ride in his MG TF 1800t.
Wow! Cor! Blimey!

So if looking for something a bit different then get a Turbo in your TF.

I don't understand why it's taken so long to hear of a 1.8t finding it's way into a TF,or a ZR or ZS for that matter.I'll bet it's lively experience in a TF

There's a few ZR's about with turbo engines. Most go for the T series 2.0 turbo engine, which is approx 200bhp.

I think the problem with a turbo in the TF is space for the turbo. Im sure i read its a bit of work getting it in there but worth it in the end.

It was possible that the factory was going to produce a turbo version as the bulkhead had already been designed to fit around the turbo, well it was in this case. Uprated cooling system fitted with an extra fan at the rear.

Yeah seen one or two ZR's with T series conversions but this is the first K series turbo transplant I've heard about
