Just spent a bit of time on Roger for the meeting, all done except for the boot which looks like an abandoned jumble sale (Tools spares and general stuff) Brendan will be happy to help me out with sorting the final bit.

Great Meet Today
Hi Steve,
Great Meet Today. Remember it is not the quantity but the quality that counts. Excellent venue!! Loved the steam trains, they were awesome. Met Martin ( The Fat Controller) who lived near my Manor in the Sixties. Someone in the Loco Society turned up in a 75. Had a chat with him and his wife who both wore Fleeces badged with Vulcan XH558 now based at at Robin Hood Airport - once RAF Finningley. He flew in XH558 as Navigator. Grateful thanks for Bob Williams who provided glamour aplenty by bringing his wife Pamella along. However, the cutie of the day had to be Brendan. Initially shy but once he got used to The BFG he held my hand for combined lifts with his Father JohnH who can be very proud of this delightful young man. Peter. No problem Steve, always try to help where I can. Even if the boot of my 75 seems like it's full of old rubbish it can unearth goodies from time to time.
Lovely day out. Maybe a BBQ venue for the S&S with O/C mixed..... ATB. |

Thanks to all who went for making this such an enjoyable day which Pamella and I enjoyed very much. John, please tell Brendon Pamella says she enjoyed the chocolates today and, yes, she did share them as requested by him. Pamella loved the photos Brendon took and thank you John for sharing them. Pamella hopes Brendon, her new photographer, will come again.
Peter, I hope you get a satisfactory insurance quote. Steve, I have got the steering wheel out ready - just let me know how and when! Bob and Pamella |
