Several things I was unaware of, hiding rear seat belt buckles, boot liner hooks up, go home lights & econ button twice for normal a/c, things I tried & don't have are: cant unlock boot with key fob & windows don't go up/down with key. 4 things I didn't know about. My 75 is even better than I thought. Great Forum, cheers guys, John

Chad.
I test-drove the 75 in early 1999. It had the driver's side cupholder fitted of course but, if I remember correctly, the salesman said "But yours won't have that - they have now been discontinued on the driver's side as they were worried that gear-changing (into 3rd gear) might cause an upset..." My car didn't arrive until July - I was told the reason for the long wait was that Rover were thickening up the rear window as there had been vibration noise from the early cars.

It only really works though if the hinge of your plastic boot carpet handle isn't too floppy
Exhibit A:

But as I say, it doesn't work on 'floppy' hinges

Everything you have in the boot above the board must be removed or there is a risk that the handle may break.

The handle is a bit weak and can only take the weight of the board.
