I think that goes for all of us Alan! Surely she'd want you to enjoy yourself on Father's Day, after all it only happens once a year, and she'll get to go out for Sunday lunch too!

Next year ask your good lady what she wants to do for Mothers Day, then don't do it. Divorce will ensue and you can go to as many meets as you want.
PS don't let the wife see this otherwise she'll insist on coming to the meet to put me in my place.

As appealing as that sounds I couldn't bare to be without my kids even if they can be a pain!
