That's the response you get when I knock off at 2am following a marathon T4 session with a car which wouldn't start after a simple ABS modulator bleed following brake pipe replacement.
Horrible half baked mismatched electronics, the only trouble with the V8 are the production numbers, 882 too many. Without exception every V8 R40 is a British Leyland "Friday afternoon" car. When I spoke to one of the development team recently, there was only ever supposed to have been one car built. Now that would have been acceptable, unlike even the late cars being stuffed with lots of plastic boxes marked "Development only, not for production use" Brian Last edited by marinabrian; 9th October 2013 at 14:02.. |
