I did hear of a Rover managment car that a dealer damaged while being serviced. They did a quick repair and didn't tell the 'owner'.

However he did spot the repair as they'd replaced the rear numberplate and got the number wrong!!!

A good look in daylight today confirmed what I thought last night.

I am one very happy Hector

Anybody in the Wolverhampton area who wants a good job done by a bloke who cares and hasn't forgotten what customer service is all about and doesn't charge silly money might want to PM me for the name and number.

I'm not sure of the Club's policy on naming traders otherwise I'd have mentioned it here.

If weather permits, I'll get some photos tomorrow.

You can name and Praise
or Name and shame
as long as it complies with rules.

Looks good. Do you know what he did to the door? New skin, or just a local repair?

Either way, I would get some good old Waxoyl in the door for future protection.

Cliff

PS - now you just need to give your alloys a quick clean

I particularly liked his comment regarding my question on the re-appearance of rust:-

"Not for at the very least 15 to 18 months, and if it does, I'll sort it again."
