Default EWS bracket

Can anyone help?!! Surely the 42 pin connector cannot remain anonymous?!!

I wish I'd taken a few more photos.. Having removed the EWS some time ago to get a new key I'm now refitting. I took a photo to show which way the bracket went and also bagged the two security screws and two self tappers. However I don't recall what the two self tappers are for. There are two plastic inserts in the bracket where they locate and they must be for something otherwise I wouldn't have bagged them. Can anyone help please?
Edit: In trying to puzzle this out I've seen there are two bracket versions. One which just secures the EWS, and another which is elongated and both secures the EWS and also has the two plastic screw inserts for something else to be mounted. It's this one that I have and am trying to find out what should be mounted to it.

Also does anyone know what the 42pin female connector next to the EWS is for?

Thanks,
Michael
