but do any of you remember a Top Gear episode where Volvo demonstated a crash free car and it went straight into the back of a HGV trailer, very funny clip; hope they have improved their technology.

I think they also found a video of a Mercedes S class doing pretty much the same thing...

crash preventing sensors...hmmm Fit them on the doors so if they park their Volvo's too close they can't get the doors open!

we really need to make a stand about this type of technology now and tell them to do one. I do not want a self drive car under any circumstances. A licence for the government to exercise even more control over us.

I didn't buy either of my cars to be a passenger, except when coming back from the pub.

Prototype equipment is always much larger than it needs to be to enable it to be developed, the final working unit will be tiny. The first computer I made was the size of a suitcase, ran at 1m and had 8k of memory. My laptop has 4Gb of memory and runs at 2GHz.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Not practical in towns for many years to come. I saw the program too...wouldn't work in my car with all the leaks in my boot...
